I hope you were able to relax during the hectic holidays and were able to spend time with your families where ever your destination was. We’ve witnessed weather this fall that has astounded and amazed us. We have not experienced a brown Christmas Holiday since 2006 with above normal temperatures besides. Back to business…SMAAC held its annual meeting with election of officers and board members for 2012 on November 13th, 2011 with approximately eighty members in attendance. Below are the election results which are also displayed on the home page under About Us. Term Bernie St Pierre - (1) yr. term The Staples Motley Area Arts Council has three concerts and one chamber performance remaining on the 2012 winter and spring series. Mark you calendars for Saturday January 28th, Saturday February 11th, Saturday March 24th, and Sunday April 29th. This month the Staples Motley Area Arts Council programming committee begins the task of establishing the 2012 and 2013 venues. Staples Motley Area Arts Council is committed to serving all segments of the community and representing a diverse range of interests. We would like to remind everyone that Staples Motley Area Arts Council has openings for volunteer opportunities that include but are not limited to…ushers, ticket takers, servers, officers or board and committee members.
