The Summer 2010
Music in the Park
series is FREE to the community thanks to a gift from the Staples Host Lions Club.
All concerts are on Sundays at 7:00 p.m.
in the Northern Pacific (NP) Park, 625 6th St. NE.
Bring a chair or a blanket.

Turn north on 6th Street at the junction of Highways 10 & 210 and go six blocks.
If road construction is a problem exit on 4th Street,
proceed north to the water tower,
and turn right to 6th St.

In case of rain, the concerts will be moved to Centennial Auditorium.


August 1
Bill and Kate Isles
bring folk music with the wonderful texts that are a hallmark of Bill’s originals.

August 8
Wayne Renn
the local country fiddler, with an infectious musical performance.

August 15
Gary Rue
is a singer-songwriter whose style is all over the map. Come & be surprised.

August 22
Gary Timbs
transplanted to Staples from Alabama with sparkling, southern-fried keyboards.

 

July 11 featured the Green Lake Bluegrass Band
S who started playing at a Bible Camp and plays gospel, folk & Irish, in addition to bluegrass.
